Amazon Family Picnic

Target

To organize a family picnic incorporating motivational and integration activities for AMAZON employees and their families, while promoting an active lifestyle.

Engage both children and adults in spending quality time together. Humanize workplace relations and integrate employees with their families. Strengthen positive organizational management. Ensure safety and comply with formal requirements related to mass event organization. The event also served as a part of building employee loyalty and enhancing the employer’s image.

Event components

The family picnic focused on intergenerational activities and was organized in accordance with the Mass Events Act.

The event welcomed 5,500 participants. Comprehensive event management included catering zones, site security, protection services, space arrangement with all necessary elements, participant attractions, full event support, multimedia, stage, and live band.

Almost 100 animators were involved in the picnic. Over 40 picnic attractions were available, including robot-building and “little engineer” workshops, inflatable wipe-out obstacle courses of various difficulty levels, slides and playgrounds for younger children, animation tents for the youngest guests, a skimboard track, water attractions, archery tag, mega games, slot cars, giant foosball, and many more.

Additionally, we provided event branding and participant identification with wristbands featuring specially prepared catering vouchers.

Results obtained

We ensured safety for all picnic attendees. Families were actively engaged in joint games and activities. The variety of attractions catered to different age groups, minimizing queues through diversity and efficient operation. Meal distribution was optimally fast due to sufficient catering points and excellent preparation.

Adequate rescue and security services were deployed, ensuring quick response times and effective interventions. Our designed communication during the event, site signage, and designated assembly points further increased safety and ease of movement around the venue. Thoughtful layout and planning of all event elements made it easy for participants to navigate and choose their preferred zones.
