EPAM SEC 2019 Conference
Target
Creating a space for networking of EPAM employees, customers and partners from all over the world, as well as effective communication and exchange of lessons learned. Developing the concept for one of the largest IT conferences in Europe – EPAM SEC.
Arrangement of the exhibition space and construction, according to individual designs, of stands for 16 communities – present at the event, and construction of lecture stages for speakers. Maintaining zero waste implementation and putting into practice the 3R principles.
Event components
The conference was held in the heart of Gdansk – the Frederic Chopin Baltic Philharmonic Hall. The event brought together more than 1,500 people from 25 countries around the world. Realizing the main purpose of the event, the conference was complemented by four side events, during which participants could meet on many levels. We prepared a pre-party, an evening event in the building, as well as in a tent – for special guests and a concluding boat cruise on the Sopot-Hel route.
We built according to individual designs – 30 fair stands – put to use for the assembled community. In addition, we arranged 10 stages for 50 speakers, who gave more than 36 lectures. We enabled streaming – 10 of them – to the client’s external network and the other halls located in the facility. A total of 12 camera operators, gathered conference footage closing in on 40 hours of footage.
We designed and produced more than 400 graphic designs and branding stands, which were placed in the Philharmonic Hall. We prepared about 60 opening animations. During editing, as well as during the conference, we engaged more than 100 people to work. In accordance with the zero waste concept, we reduced the overuse of plastic, during the production of materials. We used recyclable and reusable plastics.
Results obtained
We created a space where networking, discussion and knowledge exchange between clients, partners and EPAM employees was possible. Thanks to this, guests from all over the world, shared ideas, built professional experience, presented their skills and insights. In doing so, they embodied the idea of a connected world, which is based on creating hundreds of permanent connections between the dispersed IT world.
