Executive Team Building with Children from an Orphanage

Target

The team-building event took place on June 4, 2022, and brought together 60 participants — the management team from our client’s company and children from a local orphanage.

Event components

Organized by the FSWO event agency, the experience was designed to promote collaboration, empathy, and leadership by combining executives and children into shared teams.

Set in the vibrant space of Manufaktura in Łódź, the event featured a variety of activities. Mixed teams of children and executives took part in logic-based challenges and dynamic laser tag battles. One of the highlights involved children working in pairs to build and program robots, which later competed against each other in a friendly final showdown.

This unique format not only encouraged teamwork but also emphasized doing something meaningful together.

Results obtained

Participants had fun, learned, and bonded in a way that was both impactful and inspiring. The event allowed everyone to reflect on their strengths and collaboration styles — both in larger groups and in close two-person teams.

The positive feedback from both the client and the children has led to the decision to turn this concept into a recurring initiative.
