Team Day
Target
To design a space and attractions that foster team building among an international team of 800 employees. The goal was to develop engaging activities tailored to participants’ preferences and to implement a management system that would facilitate activity selection and group registration with ease.
Additionally, we adapted the venue by creating a cohesive graphic design concept for both the interior and exterior decoration of the hall. Branded gadgets and keepsakes were prepared for participants. We also ensured guest transportation and bilingual venue signage in both Polish and English.
Event components
To promote teamwork and fun for every employee, the event was divided into zones with various activities. Participants could freely choose the activity they wanted to join. A key challenge was the logistics — organizing attractions and schedules for 800 people and designing competitions for 400-person teams.
One major highlight was the collaborative building of a Goldberg Machine. This creative activity emphasized problem-solving and teamwork. Teams of 200 worked on individual machine segments, which were later combined into a functioning whole.
The second core activity was participation in Travel Fairs, where each group selected a country and presented it using themed costumes provided by us.
We also created a relaxation zone featuring an adult-sized ball pit (with over 100,000 plastic balls), a chillout area with string lights, deckchairs, giant inflatables, bubble shows, and badminton. The first part of the event concluded with a joint showcase of the groups’ final creations.
For the evening portion, we curated activities that continued to promote interaction and fun, including:
Giant piñatas
Kite-making workshops
DIY lamp-building (using provided metal pipes)
Natural cosmetics workshops with a wide range of raw materials
A spectacular Laserman Show to cap off the day
Results obtained
The wide range of activity options allowed participants to engage based on their interests, resulting in enthusiastic participation from nearly all attendees. The original and creative activities encouraged hands-on involvement and team bonding. Many participants took home self-made items as souvenirs, which extended the experience beyond the event itself.
The chillout zone was also very popular, providing space for informal connections. Ultimately, the Team Day fostered stronger interpersonal relationships through meaningful shared experiences in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
